
Athleisure and innerwear company Page Industries, the sole licensee of Jockey and Speedo in India, announced on Wednesday that its net profit for the quarter ending 30th June 2025, increased 21.5% year over year to Rs. 201 crore (US $ 22.94 million) from Rs. 165 crore (US $ 18.83 million) during the same period the previous year, according to its regulatory filing.
According to its unaudited financial data, the company’s operating revenue increased 3.1% year over year to Rs. 1,316.6 crore (US $ 150 million) from Rs. 1,277.5 crore (US $ 145 million) in Q1 FY25. Sales volumes increased 1.9% to 58.6 million pieces during the quarter, while EBITDA increased 21.1% year over year at Rs. 294.7 crore (US $ 33.64 million). The EBITDA margin increased to 22.4% throughout the course of the quarter. The quarter’s total expenses came to Rs. 1,061.2 crore (US $ 121 million), but the profit before taxes increased to Rs. 270.2 crore (US $ 30.84 million) from Rs. 222.5 crore (US $ 25.40 million) in the same period last year.
Commenting on the results, V.S. Ganesh, Managing Director of Page Industries, stated that the company achieved a 21.5% growth in PAT for the quarter. He noted that the business continues to expand its consumer reach, drive product innovation, implement process automation, and maintain a focus on optimal market investments and cost efficiency. Ganesh highlighted that with all-time low inflation, lower borrowing rates, and rationalised direct taxes, demand recovery is expected in the coming periods.
