Sportswear giant Reebok has collaborated with Brain Dead, a Los Angeles-based collective of designers and artists, to launch an exclusive collection ‘Classic Leather’.
Brain Dead’s streetwear arm is headed by Kyle NG, who is deeply inspired by the underground comics, post-punk and the spirit of the subculture.
The design cues from these reflect in the Classic Leather collection which has a mossy suede upper, fuzzy laces and nubuck cross check along with a yellow midsole.
A custom Brain Dead woven label with the UK flag replaces the Reebok quarter logo, and a second custom label featuring both brands lives on the tongue.
For the campaign supporting the collaboration, Reebok X Brain Dead has tuned to Bob Baker Marionette Theatre (@bobbakermarionettes) to put together an A-class puppet performance.
The Reebok X Brain Dead Classic Leather will be retailing at Rs. 7,999 and will be available on Reebok’s official website and VegNonVeg, 26 June onwards.
