The India-based fashion rental company, Rent It Bae has launched country’s first AI-based store in New Delhi. The company claims to offer individualised services and interactive services through its debut brick-and-mortar store.
The company selected West Delhi’s Rajouri Garden market, as the preferred location to launch the first physical store that is said to operate with minimal human efforts and allow the customers to pick and choose without any interruption.
Notably, there is a smart screen installed inside the store, which allows the customer to get all the necessary details about the product’s price, fabrics, rental charges, availability of sizes and much more by just placing the merchandise in front of the smart screen.
Aanchal Saini, CEO & Co-Founder, Rent It Bae was quoted as saying at the launch event, “With the latest tech-enabled store, we are trying to offer an unmatched experience to our customers. This also gives our consumers the idea to try-out stuff without any manual, sales staff’s intervention, thus making it into an intensely personal experience.”
Furthermore, the new store is voice-enabled and customers can speak out their requirements and a smart screen will put forth all the available choices. There is also a magic mirror that turns into a 360-degree viewer when the customer stands in front of it trying a new outfit from the store to provide a complete look before the shopper decides to make the purchase.
The New Delhi-based fashion rental brand started operations back in 2016 and now offer its services in many major parts across the country like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Indore, Chandigarh, Pune, Hyderabad, Ludhiana, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, and Lucknow.
Additionally, Rent It Bae offers its consumers to rent designer apparel for a duration of four days or more for around 10 and 15 per cent of the product’s retail price. It houses high-end fashion labels like Tarun Tahiliani, Ritu Kumar, and Anita Dongre.
