Suta, the women’s ethnic and fusion wear brand, has opened a new brick-and-mortar store in Kochi. The outlet features dedicated product segments for kurta sets, dresses, viscose garments, sarees, and blouses.
“We can’t help but smile at our 10th store at The Croft in Kochi,” announced Suta on Facebook. “The location is as beautiful as the collections displayed, so what are you waiting for? Go ahead and shop now.”
The boutique focuses on showcasing Suta’s vibrant garments. The label’s latest collection, ‘Atrangi,’ featuring technicolour sarees with patterned borders for everyday or occasion wear, has also launched in the store.
Expanding its horizons, Suta has introduced menswear with the launch of its ‘Adam Me’ collection, which includes breezy, earthy-toned shirts with a fusion-style aesthetic similar to its womenswear. The line is made from 100 per cent cotton.
Suta was founded by Suta, Sujata, and Taniya Biswas with the aim of using traditional craft techniques to create modern, artisanal clothing and lifestyle goods. According to its website, the brand has brick-and-mortar stores in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Delhi, Kochi, Kolkata, Thane, and Pune, and also retails at multi-brand stores including Go Native, Chintz, Ladu, Anaarsakti, and The Common Good among others.
