
Japanese international clothing brand UNIQLO has announced the launch of its first location in Pune. The brand’s LifeWear line will be available to Pune customers in the new store, which will open on 26th September 2025. The debut will be UNIQLO’s 18th store in India and is the brand’s most recent move to reach even more consumers in western India.
The store will include a large selection of LifeWear for men, women, children, and babies, and it will be spread across 9,213 square feet. Flannel shirts, denim, knits, bra tops, core T-shirts, easy pants, polo shirts and cutting-edge functional textiles like HEATTECH, FLEECE and PUFFTECH are among the collection’s hallmark categories.
Kenji Inoue, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of UNIQLO India, expressed enthusiasm about the brand’s entry into Pune, describing it as a vibrant and rapidly growing city. He noted that following the successful launch of stores in Mumbai, the opening of UNIQLO’s first Pune location marks a significant step in the company’s expansion across Western India. Inoue reaffirmed UNIQLO’s commitment to growing its presence throughout the country and making its high-quality, functional LifeWear clothing accessible to an increasing number of customers in India.
