Uniqlo has opened its third store in India!
On Saturday, the Japanese global apparel retailer opened a store at the newly re-branded and opened DLF Avenue, Saket in South Delhi.
The newly opened outlet, spread across retail space of over 21,500 square feet on two floors, features Uniqlo’s LifeWear clothing – which comes from the Japanese values of simplicity, quality and longevity – for men, women, kids and babies.
This includes iconic Uniqlo products such as the innovative and functional AIRism innerwear, sun-blocking UV Cut range, DRY-EX activewear as well as products featuring premium fabrics like denim, Premium Linen and SUPIMA® cotton.
Other collections at the outlet include smart casualwear and officewear, comprising super non-iron shirts for men, rayon blouses for women, as well as EZY bottoms for both men and women.
What’s more! The third store of the brand has an exquisite visual merchandising strategy in place attracting the consumers. Designed as an outward-facing showcase window, the glass facade displays the latest seasonal offerings and promotions with an impactful colour lighting display.
The entrance of the store is anchored with a 33 feet long LED ticker and the wall features digital screens that will be visible from across the mall atrium.
In continuation with Uniqlo India’s Good Neighbourhood Guide that was introduced at its first outlet at Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj, this store also features the endeavour, highlighting the hidden gems of local neighbourhoods and showcasing their efforts and bringing them to the attention of all its consumers.
Uniqlo also offered a discount of Rs. 500 on minimum purchase of Rs. 4,000 for downloading the Uniqlo app, in addition to other opening offers.
Uniqlo opened its first store in the country in October last year at Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj in New Delhi followed by another one at DLF CyberHub in Gurugram.
Earlier this month, the brand had maintained that “India has the potential to become the brand’s top market in the future” and that Uniqlo plans to design and manufacture in the country in addition to opening stores.
