
The opening of V-Mart Retail Ltd.’s 500th location in India marks a significant milestone for the nation’s top value fashion retailer.
The company opened 62 outlets under the V-Mart, Limeroad, and Unlimited banners in the fiscal year 2025. With this growth, V-Mart now has 43 lakh square feet of retail space spread over more than 300 Indian cities, and it says it has served more than 100 million customers over the years.
Commenting on the expansion, Lalit Agarwal, managing director of V-Mart Retail, said the achievement was made possible by the team’s hard work and commitment. He noted that the company’s focus on value retailing enables it to serve the aspirations of the middle-class consumer.
He added that this milestone further strengthens V-Mart’s standing as a prominent value retailer in Bharat, dedicated to offering affordable, high-quality products. The company remains focused on transforming value retail in India by making fashion more inclusive, accessible, and democratic for millions.
V-Mart stores were established in 2003 and provide stylish clothing, accessories, and shoes at reasonable prices.
