Value retailer, V-Mart Retail Ltd., witnessed a net loss of Rs. 64.12 crore for Q2, FY ’24, it also had a net loss of Rs. 11.31 crore in Q2, FY ’23.
Its total expenses in the September quarter were at Rs. 637.84 crore.
According to a regulatory filing by the company, its revenue from operations in the second quarter of current fiscal was Rs. 549.43 crore compared to Rs. 506.16 crore in the corresponding quarter.
The retailer underlined its results are not comparable as the results include business operations of digital marketplace LimeRoad acquired during the previous year.
Founded in 2002, V-Mart is an omni-channel value retailer delivering experiential offerings to middle class and it has 450 stores in 291 cities. It is primarily focusing on Tier-2 and 3 cities.
