The Indian garment industry has always been recognized as an export base for quality value-added products. Providing accessories to meet the various demands of these garments, Delhi based Accessories World, has been catering its clients with new offerings for more than a decade and is today specialising in zippers. The company is now set to bring in better zippers into the market with new components, for which the company plans to install latest technology by the end of this season…
The company, known for its consistent quality, Accessories World is a manufacturer and dealer of a variety of zippers for the export and domestic market. Established by Mukesh Kumar in 1998, the company is known amongst its clients for both their sales and after-sales-services, competitive prices, huge variety of products and on-time deliveries. “Despite the fact that we specialize in metal and CFC zippers, we manufacture a huge range of collections for our buyers consisting of No. 3+, 4, 5, 8, and 10 in metal zippers, No. 3, 5, 7 open close and two way in CFC and No. 3, 5, and 8 in vislon,” elaborated Mukesh Kumar, Director, Accessories World on their product profile.
With the industry norms being extremely stringent for garment accessories, the company follows a series of tests for their zippers as per the buyer’s requirements. Apart from the regular AZO free dyes, nickel free, lead free tests, the company also passes through the strength tests claims Mukesh. “The strength test helps our buyers know how many times the zipper will run and function smoothly. This is also a way to bring in transparency in our operations.” The company’s current production capacity is around 15 lakh zippers per annum, which are manufactured in their units in Delhi and Ludhiana. Though working with good bulk orders, the organization also works with customized sliders in zippers for their buyers with a minimum quantity order of 25,000 pieces. “We are not manufacturing the sliders at the moment, we outsource them. But we know the people to work with when there is a demand of customized sliders” asserted Mukesh.
Usually, there are always huge quantities of zipper rolls and zippers stocked by the company to cater to any urgent demands of their clients, but in case of special requests as well, the organization is fully equipped to deliver the products in a lead time of two to three weeks.
