Delhi-based Atith International (Chilly Grapes), exporter of womenswear to Australia, Germany, USA and Austria, is growing its client base and entering new markets like France. The company is also expanding its sampling and finishing capabilities and has opened a new unit in Sahibabad. It is also exploring opportunities in home furnishing and accessories. Nirdosh Sadh, Proprietor of the firm informed Apparel Online, “This is like a comeback for us as 5 years ago we used to work with France-based buyers. Since the last three years, we have been participating in sourcing fairs and are now in the process of working with new buyers. We have some orders for blouses from wholesalers who, we feel, could place big orders with us in the future. We are also optimistic about our home furnishing items (mainly cushion covers and accessories) as we feel that the segment could grow in the long run as the market conditions appear to be good for this segment. We are also doing more sampling, and are hopeful that we will get good orders in the near future.”
Sadh, who has more than 22 years of experience in the export business, is confident that the company’s expansion plans will bear fruit. “We have the experience and the zeal to grow. We have been witnessing 40 to 50 per cent good growth and expecting the same in the coming years,” he concludes.
