
Looking at enhancing its capabilities, Jaipur based Shree Shyam Exim is planning to invest in embroidery machines so as to offer the same in-house, as of now the company is outsourcing embroidery. Exporting ladies garments like caftans, gowns and short middies to Gulf countries from the last 5 years Manish Maheswari, Owner of the company feels that market is reasonably good in these countries and in future also the growth pattern will continue.
“We are more into creative work with embroidery, use of laces etc. and are currently outsourcing embroidery from job workers having 8-9 multi-head machines. As we have enough work throughout the year for at least 5 embroidery machines, we are planning to bring the process in-house. It will be a different unit and within the next few months it will start production,” shares Manish. Talking about the business, he adds that business from Gulf countries is regular, and creativity as well as relation is the key for survival and growth.
The firm has 80 stitching machines and its products have an average FOB of US $ 8. Along with garmenting, the company also has lace manufacturing business in Surat.
