The Eurofins Assurance network of companies, global provider of testing, inspection, and certification services, has announced that it has received Certification Body accreditation for its office in India from IOAS for certification programs, GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and Textile Exchange. These programs support sustainable practices in the textile industry, guaranteeing the traceability of organic and recycled materials, promoting transparency, and upholding community empowerment.
The Eurofins Assurance office in India has been granted Certification Body accreditation, indicating quality and integrity in the certification industry, after IOAS authorised many Eurofins Assurance offices for GOTS and Textile Exchange programs following a thorough evaluation and review.
Eurofins Assurance will be able to provide the following certification standards in Asia and Europe, with plans to further increase coverage into the future:
- Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)
- Textile Exchange
- Global Recycled Standard (GRS)
- Organic Content Standard (OCS)
- Recycled Claim Standard (RCS)
- Content Claim Standard (CCS)
Impact Trace, a proprietary Eurofins Assurance GOTS and Textile Exchange digital platform, will be available to customers worldwide to provide a simplified certification process. Customers may evaluate certification progress, manage bookings and document uploads, and conveniently access audit results and Transaction Certificates in one location with this soon-to-be platform.
