Lenzing’s VEOCEL™ brand is here again with something new!
In its pursuit to drive greater sustainability in the personal care and hygiene industry, Lenzing’s VEOCEL™ brand has now unveiled a new offering – VEOCEL™ branded lyocell fibres with Dry technology, which are naturally smooth and gentle on skin.
Notably, the new VEOCEL™-branded lyocell fibres have the capacity to offer a high level of comfort, softness and dryness, when applied in these types of products.
And these are sustainable too!
While most hydrophobic fibres are fossil-based fibres, Dry technology by Lenzing allows cellulosic VEOCEL™ branded lyocell fibres to achieve similar liquid-controlling properties built on a biodegradable, botanic-derived material. Also, these fibres are soft and gentle on skin.
More on the same, Jürgen Eizinger, Vice President of Global Nonwovens Business, Lenzing, says “Our new VEOCEL™ Lyocell fibres with Dry technology are certified biodegradable and compostable; therefore, offering an eco-friendly and quality alternative to fossil-based materials.”
Jürgen added “The VEOCEL™ brand is continually expanding its capacities and innovations for wood-based specialty fibres as a means to reduce the industry’s reliance on fossil-based materials in personal care products.”
The launch has come at a time when there are rising numbers of eco-conscious consumers, who are acutely aware of the environmental impact of disposable products and are searching for products that are better for the environment.
VEOCEL™ is Lenzing Group’s flagship specialty nonwoven brand. Derived from renewable raw material wood, VEOCEL™ provides natural care, every day, and is committed to driving industry standards around sustainability and natural comfort in the nonwoven sector.
With the revenue or €1.63 billion, Lenzing Group has 7,358 employees.
