Spanish fashion retailer Mango is making a commitment towards sustainability by launching ‘MANGO Committed’, a women and men’s collection made up of garments manufactured with sustainable materials, reflecting the fashion brand’s commitment to continue working in an environment-friendly manner and adopting sustainable development criteria.
The collection comprises 25 women’s garments and 20 men’s garments, and the fabrics used in the assortment are eco-friendly such as organic and recycled cotton, recycled polyester and Tencel ® fibre. Also, the fabrics are being dyed with sustainable inks in a palette of neutral colours. Manufactured in factories in Portugal, Turkey and Morocco, the entire collection comes with individual international certificates “guaranteeing their sustainable origin” such as GOTS, OCS and GRS.

“Mango has been working in different initiatives related to sustainability for many years now and this collection seemed like a natural step. We have carefully selected the materials and suppliers we wanted to work with, and it has been more or less planned at the same time as the rest of collections of the season. It’s a thoughtfully crafted collection for women and men featuring fashion pieces committed to environmental sustainability,” said Guillermo Corominas, Communications Director, Mango.
