The Design Village (TDV) and Les Ateliers Alix, a Parisian Couture fashion school, have teamed up to foster mutual respect, build cross-cultural ties, and widen student experience and horizons. To promote academic interaction between the two institutions, a four-year bilateral international semester exchange has been agreed upon.
According to a press release from TDV, the collaboration aims to boost design education in the fashion industry. Students will study directly from the experienced Parisian couturiers and gain an understanding of the intricate details involved in garment construction.
According to the release, this partnership will result in a wonderful fusion of Indian handicraft and Parisian couture experience. The communique also stated that educational exchange, student participation opportunities, and research initiatives would be used to carry out the MOU’s goals.
“Our students are looking forward to this association under the guidance of Mossi Traore to learn professional and creative techniques of garment making. This cooperation aims to enhance cultural exchange in the field of fashion and design,” Vatsal Agrawal, associate dean, Executive Affairs, TDV, said.
The institution, which is located in Paris, strives to educate fashion designers with all the fundamental abilities required for the job. According to the announcement, the instruction is tough and frequently reviewed to ensure each student’s growth.
