“MaxxSaver” is a new tool that Swiggy, one of India’s top quick commerce platforms, has added to its Swiggy Instamart service.
The service, which offers substantial savings after a user’s cart value surpasses US $ 11.54 (Rs 999), is being implemented in all 100 towns where Instamart operates.
Swiggy claims that the 10-minute delivery guarantee will not alter, and that MaxxSaver will provide Swiggy BLCK members additional advantages.
Swiggy’s most recent action comes after rival Zepto’s SuperSaver feature, which was introduced in September of last year, proved to be successful. MaxxSaver is applied automatically at checkout after the basket reaches a specific threshold, in contrast to Zepto’s opt-in methodology.
The launching of MaxxSaver coincides with reports that Zepto is discontinuing its Zepto Pass subscription service and concentrating on a new initiative dubbed Zepto Daily, which grants access to unique rates and advantages by invitation only in specific pin codes.
There seems to be a general tendency in the business towards larger cart sizes. Swiggy revealed that their average order value for rapid commerce increased by 14 per cent in the third quarter of fiscal year 2025, from US $ 5.42 to US $ 6.17 (Rs 469 to Rs 534).
