
India’s leading apparel export house Gokaldas Exports Limited has achieved consolidated net profit of Rs. 40.6 crore in Q3 of the current fiscal which is up by 34.8 per cent compared to Rs. 30.1 crore in the same period of last financial year.
For the nine months of the current fiscal ending on 31st December 2023, the company has profit after tax of Rs. 125.8 crore which is 123.9 per cent higher than the same period of last fiscal.
Declaring its financial results for the quarter ended 31st December 2022, the company reported a consolidated revenues of Rs. 528.1 crore during Q3, up by 0.8 per cent compared to Rs. 524.1 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year.
Siva Ganpathy- Vice Chairman and Managing Director commented on the results, “The third quarter performance demonstrates our continued strength and resilience when the industry is encountering challenging global macro-economic environment. We are optimistic about the future outlook for the industry. The Government’s emphasis on boosting exports through investment schemes and trade agreements will play a supporting role in driving the industry forward.”
The company will continue to focus on optimal resource utilisation and drive operational excellence in the coming quarters.
With an annual turnover of US $ 250 million, the company is exporting garments to more than 50 countries.
