The textile and apparel industry enthusiastically participated in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. Many companies across the supply chain not only hoisted the flags at their offices and factories, but also distributed them to their employees.
Under the guidance of the State Government’s industry department, apparel units Kishor Exports, Orient Crafts, Matrix Clothing, Valencia apparels, etc., contributed 5 lakh flags to Jharkhand Government.
Indore-based leading apparel exporter Pratibha Syntex manufactured 3.5 lakh flags and also distributed around 7,800 flags to its employees and workers.
Richa Global Exports also organised 75th Independence Day anniversary celebrations and all its factories across Noida, Manesar, Bengaluru and Gurugram participated in the event. Virender Uppal, CMD of the company, along with the staff and 20,000 workers were part of the celebration.
Noida-based Maral Overseas also distributed 1,000 flags to its employees and society.
In the Ministry of Textiles, UP Singh, Secretary (Textiles) along with VK Singh, Special Secretary (Textiles) and other staff celebrated the campaign. The campaign was also celebrated by Textiles Committee at its headquarters, Mumbai.
