
Organized by Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA), Chan Chao International, and Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service jointly, the 13th edition of Dhaka International Textile and Garment Machinery Exhibition – DTG 2016, dubbed the ‘mini ITMA of South Asia’, is set to begin from January 28.
To be held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka, DTG 2016 is a 4-day event which is designed to be the trendsetter for industry players to showcase new technology, state-of-the-art equipment, materials and services, as well as an excellent avenue for international suppliers and visitors to expand business to the lucrative market and accelerate Bangladeshi technological advances that will impart effective quality, high speed, and competitive cost to gain that all important edge in textile & garment industry.

Participated by countries like Singapore, Austria, Bangladesh, Thailand, Turkey, UK, US, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Spain, Taiwan and Vietnam, the event will showcase latest developments from brands such as Mayer & Cie, Pai Lung, Santoni, Shima Seiki, Stoll, Terrot, Picanol, M&R, CTMTC, Fong’s, Groz-Beckert, Karl Mayer, LMW, Rieter, Saurer, Tajima and Toyota.
In the 2015 edition of the fair, more than 900 exhibitors from 32 countries exhibited. The show witnessed 30,000 visitors thronging the stalls exhibiting the latest developments. The event also reportedly generated US $ 200 million worth of onsite order bookings for companies participating at DTG 2015.
