After reveling in the overwhelming success of its first ever online edition of the India Fashion Jewellery and Accessories Show, the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) is all set to organise an online trade show, IHGF (Indian Handicrafts & Gifts Fair) Textiles Virtual Fair, expecting more than 350 exporters, manufacturers and buyers to join them.
The trade show will be spread across 4 days, beginning Monday, from 15 to 18 June.
EPCH wrote on its Facebook page that they are looking forward to welcoming all big and small business buyers, wholesalers, retailers, importers, domestic volume buyers, buying & selling agents and hospitality buyers from across the world to explore what India has to offer in textiles, home furnishings and floor coverings.
Considering the current tough times owing to which trade shows stand cancelled for the foreseeable future, the upcoming virtual textiles trade show by the EPCH indeed seems to be an excellent opportunity for textile businesses to strengthen their networking through the digital platform and gain orders and restart operations.
The 49th IHGF Delhi Fair, initially scheduled to be held in February 2020 and later postponed to April, could not see the light of the day owing to the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent nationwide lockdown.
Its virtual edition promises to be equally action-packed.
