SHIMA SEIKI, the Japanese pioneer in knitting machines manufacturing will participate in a private show to be held by its subsidiary SHIMA SEIKI Morocco SLU in Casablanca, Morocco. On display will be two of the company’s SIR series computerized flat knitting machines, in 7G middle gauge and 14G fine gauge versions, both with optional intarsia capability. SIR is a workhorse machine that features the latest in computerized flat knitting technology, such as the patented DSCS Digital Stitch Control System, spring-type full-time sinker system, yarn gripper and cutter, and takedown comb. Likewise advanced is the SCG122SN 3G machine intended for coarse gauge applications. Demonstrations will also be performed on the SDS-ONE APEX3 design system that is at the core of the company’s “Total Knitting System” concept.
