Being the European market leader in various kinds of aerosols for the apparel and textile industry, such as lubricants, adhesives, zinc, cleaners, protectives, removers and other similar products, Siliconi will showcase their latest products at the GTE’13. The Italian pioneer which came into existence in 1957 has since then developed more than 150 kinds of sprays that aid the varied operations of the apparel and textile industry. Some of the nominated products it would focus upon would be the TAKTER-1 water based adhesive for screen printing. The spray is non-toxic in nature and also does not get transferred to the fabric therefore preventing unnecessary damage to the fabric.
Amongst the other innovations on display would be PULIMAK which is a chlorine free spray that helps in removal of grease, ink and oil stains from cotton, silk, wool, besides synthetic fabrics. With its major USP being no formation of rings or halos on the fabric surface, with no colour bleeding too, the product literally face no competition in the market. Also displayed would be a spray that repaints the whole sewing machine, especially from Juki. “This spray dries up within 15 minutes and allows the painting to be done in-house; 25 machines can be sprayed with a single bottle of spray which is a great advantage to the organization,” said Rahul Chhikara, Marketing Manager, Siliconi.
With a production capacity of 60,000 cans per day, each can has a high quality nozzle that enables less clogging and 100% use of the bottle, which is not possible with any other spray company at the moment.
