Wool and Woollens Export Promotion Council (WWEPC) jointly with Powerloom Development and Export Promotion Council (PDEXCIL) is organizing India Fashion Tex 2023- A Global Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM).

The event is scheduled to take place from 20th – 22nd March in New Delhi.

As per the organisers, the event will be attended by over 200 international buyers from various countries, various leading buying offices and a delegation of more than 20 importers from Japan has come to witness the innovative range of products being displayed by exhibitors.

There is a 29 per cent of growth in exports of wool and woolen products during the period April 2022 to January 2023 as compared to the same period of the previous year.

The event’s inauguration ceremony will be graced by Shubhra, Trade Advisor and Development Commissioner (Handicrafts and Handlooms).

Romesh Khajuria, Chairman, Wool and Woolens Export Promotion Council, said, “Indian Fashion Tex will help in building the brand image of Indian Textiles and will showcase the strength of Indian textile manufacturing base among the visiting foreign buyers/importers.”
