World’s leading industrial thread manufacturer Coats is exhibiting its innovative range of para-aramid and polyester engineered yarns at the ongoing Wire 2016, the international wire and cable trade fair, in Dusseldorf, Germany.
The range includes Ultrabloc S/SC, a water swellable yarn which is ideal for dry blocking in fibre optic ropes. It is a pure spun super-absorbent polymer thread with a polyester core for added strength and temperature stability, the company release mentions. Another exhibit at Wire is Gral Binder LS, a high tenacity multi-filament polyester yarn with ultra-low shrink.
