Abhishek Sharma’s sustainable fashion pieces glammed the Lakme Fashion Week X FDCI 2024 (LFW X FDCI 2024) runway with its Indian grassland-inspired designs.
Sharma’s runway spectacle was titled ‘Trin’ and it displayed a mix of earth tones and shimmered textiles. Fashion model Ujjawala Raut wearing a sparkling layered texture fabric dress was the closing star of the show.
The designer shared his source of inspiration and said emphasised on the aspect of layering and creating textures for his designer works. His work was a blend of surface ornamentation with kantha embroidery, 3D hand embellishments, draping, and beadwork.
The LFW X FDCI 2024 is being held in New Delhi from 9th to 13th of October. The five-day fashion galore features countless designers, innovations and design accomplishments including a dedicated Sustainable Fashion Day.
