Tasva, a designer Indian clothing brand owned by Aditya Birla Fashion Retail Ltd. and designer Tarun Tahiliani, had a fashion show at the Travancore Palace in New Delhi to present its autumn/winter 2024 wedding collection, “Baaraat.”
As the show-stopper at the end, Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor walked the ramp for the company. The fashion show also featured participation from digital influencers Mohak Narang, Manav Chhabra, Unnati Malharkar, and Apoorva, as well as celebrities Vihaan Samat, Anubhav Singh Bassi, and Suvir Saran.
With styles like the angrakha sherwani, fitted dinner jackets, and asymmetrical patterns, the collection offers a stunning selection of wedding attire adapted for the contemporary Indian groom.
Commenting on the collection, Ranbir Kapoor in a statement said, “It was an exciting pleasure to walk the runway in the Baaraat collection, which celebrated the marriage of classic style with contemporary flair! They were able to honour their heritage while expressing their uniqueness thanks to this collection.”
Tarun Tahiliani, chief design officer of Tasva added, “My idea combines modern tailoring, easiness, and comfort with traditional craftsmanship to create a modern lifestyle that enables today’s young men to convey their individual stories via the artistry and elegant silhouettes they are used to seeing in western clothing.”
