With a difference in cost of around $ 4000, the new machine has many advanced features and revised software to make it user-friendly. “Eastman is always developing new features to ensure greater productivity and working efficiency of its machines,” says Syed Hafeez, Country Manager, Eastman Liaison Office (India).
The new machine is lower in height for easy operations so the operator can supervise the work from floor level and does not necessarily use the platform. The cutter of the machine is now in laid position for clear cut finish. The stronger structure of the new power bucket has increased the loading weight of the fabric and now factories can use the same machine for 20 kg to 120 kg fabric, which means it is equally adaptable to thin fabric and denim. The new design also introduces the dual feeding system, which eliminates stretch of the fabric. The automatic edge alignment mechanism evens the edges of the fabric even better than the manual process so it saves huge wastages of fabric. The machine is synchronized for fabric feeding and spreading with an adjustable tension controller, while the static eliminator obviates the charges that emanate when spreading nylon fabric. Further a special cloth bar with wheels exhaust air from the thin fabric like nylon for smooth spreading. “No other spreader has special features for thin fabric and that makes our machine unique,” claims Hafeez.
