The Japanese sewing pioneer JUKI launched the DU-1281-7 single needle, top & bottom feed, lockstitch machine with a double-capacity hook and automatic thread trimmer. This has been developed by incorporating the “automatic thread trimmer” into the DU Series for non-apparel products, as well as by increasing the distance from the machine-arm to the needle. With 28% increased distance from the machine-arm to the needle, the newly developed machine promises easy handling of a wide range of large and heavy-weight materials such as car seats, sofas, baby buggies and tents during sewing, as well as facilitating decorative tacking with designed stitches.
The adoption of the alternating vertical movement control dial enables easy adjustment of the amount of the alternating vertical movement of the walking foot and presser foot without requiring any tool. The adoption of the vertical-axis double-capacity hook helps reduce the frequency of bobbin thread replacement, thereby promising sewing work with efficiency.
