Pfaff Industrial has seen many ups and downs in its evolution, but one factor which has actually kept the company on the forefront of sewn product technology is its quest for delivering highly automated machines for sewing 3-dimensional structured clothing. The German pioneer, manufacturing sewing machines and related technologies, Pfaff Industrial together with Pfaff Singapore and its Japanese sales partner Libera, will showcase a range of machines under its Powerline series, along with the Pfaff 3590 large-area stitcher and Pfaff 8301 cut & seal welding machine, at the JIAM show.
Under the Powerline range, the single needle flatbed Powerline 2545 is a specialty sewing machine with unison feed for securing and assembly seams on automotive interiors. The machine is equipped with a new reliable thread trimmer for short thread ends (5 mm) and a device for a neat seam start which avoids birds’ nests on the bottom side of the fabric. Also under the Powerline range, the Powerline 2596 double needle postbed unison feed machine is available for top stitching on car seats and other interiors, will be present alongside other innovations from the company. The machine is equipped with a pneumatic-controlled seam centre guide for exact decorative seams in the automotive and home upholstery section.
The new generation Pfaff 3590 Freely programmable large-field computer stitchers enable efficient top-stitch and decorative stitching operations. With a large sewing area of 500 X 300 mm, the machine is equipped with high-end engineering for precise control and operational reliability.
