Dedicated to the knitting industry, Stoll – the 140-year old German knitting solutions giant, has seen the Bangladeshi market transform from a phase where just 5-machine order was considered celebratory to today where 200-300 machines installations are a commonplace. “When I became responsible for the Bangladesh market 7 years back, the country was nowhere on Stoll’s global map, but now it is just 2nd to China and I see it becoming the biggest market in the coming years,” asserts Thomas Hoffmann, Area Sales Manager, Stoll GmbH. Some of the recent installations of Stoll include a set of 500 machines at Magpie Group and 100 machines at Sky Apparels.
Stoll has registered success with its CMS 502 machine, which is equipped with 2 knitting systems, 45” working width, take-down comb, cutting and clamping on the right hand side and a friction feed wheel. CMS 502 has a starting bar and a variable stroke with Power-RCR system (Rapid Carriage Return). Adding to the edge of Stoll’s machines is the SKR Tool software. The software keeps track of the number of pieces made by each and every machine, machine downtime and reasons for the same can be monitored from any location all over the world.
