Centric Software and Style Union accentuate their collaboration

Centric Software, a pioneer in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), has proudly announced the expansion of its partnership with Indian fashion brand Style Union by integrating Centric Planning into its operations. As a PLM market leader, Centric Software specialises in offering cutting-edge enterprise solutions for designing, planning, sourcing, pricing, and selling a wide array of products, including apparel, fashion, home goods, and other accessories. Their solutions have helped Style Union to achieve strategic and operational digital transformation objectives.

Ekta Biyani, Co-founder of Style Union, expressed that while they had anticipated the need for most of the required tech stack solutions from the beginning, they chose to wait to grasp their planning process better. She added that Centric Planning seamlessly integrated into their envisioned processes, making it the missing piece they needed.

Style Union initially adopted Centric PLMTM at the launch of its brand in 2021, aiming to commence its journey with an industry-leading solution. The implementation of Centric PLM set a solid foundation for Style Union’s growth trajectory. However, as the brand continually launched over 150 new products per week into a rapidly expanding network of stores, it became evident that optimizing and digitizing assortment planning was the next logical step.

Centric Planning is set to replace at least a dozen spreadsheets currently utilised for managing assortment planning and merchandise financial planning at Style Union. Merchandisers, buyers, and regional operations managers will use this software to enhance their efficiency and accuracy in planning.

Alok Dharadhar, Head of Planning at Style Union, anticipates a substantial reduction in the time spent compiling plans by their buying and planning teams, estimating a remarkable 12-15 per cent improvement. Centric PLM will not only diminish manual data entry and errors but also standardise essential components like colour, material, and product libraries, along with enhancing vendor collaboration and ERP integration.

Centric Software too, highlighted Style Union’s rapid expansion and expressed eagerness to collaborate closely with their team to streamline the planning process and contribute to their remarkable growth journey.
