E-commerce retailer Amazon on Sunday introduced the upgraded version of its ‘Amazon Easy’ store in India. The new format integrates its multiple services through a single touchpoint.
The company shared in a statement that a physical product display will help the upgraded format provide a touch-and-feel product experience to the customers.
Amazon informed that shoppers can place their orders on the website (Amazon.in) with the assistance of the store staff. Once that is done, they can either pick up their orders from the store or opt for getting it delivered at their doorstep.
The online retailer has made its first exclusive Amazon Easy store operational in Mahalakshmi Layout in Bengaluru.
Plans to expand the same to other parts of India with the existing and new network partners are also underway.
Amazon works with several network partners across the country, including Vakrangee, Velocity, and Indiabuys with an aim to bring the Amazon Easy experience to customers who are new to e-commerce.
Amazon India has also enabled store owners with its last-mile delivery programme ‘I Have Space’, which allows them to deliver packages to shoppers in their areas alongside facilitating pick-ups.
