
Beloved Canadian fashion retailer Aritzia, known to develop its own brands as independent labels, recently launched a new brand. Dubbed Little Moon, this introduction marks the retailer’s second new core brand offering this year.
Each of the brands under the retailers’ wings serve their own specific and diverse target consumers through distinct design traits.
Little Moon is defined as “a bold new collection for the expressive woman”. Its inaugural collection is taps into the sentiments of 1980’s Paris nightlife and features bright satin blouses, bomber jackets, sheer lace bodysuits, and vintage-inspired knits.
It brings a welcome dose of colour and eclecticism to the brand as compared to Aritzia’s other in-house brands such as Babaton, Wilfred, TNA, and Talula, among others.

Earlier this year, Artizia also forayed into the activewear segment by introducing The Constant, a technical performance line that embraces today’s popular athleisure craze.
Besides the line-up of in-house brands, the Vancouver-based retailer also boasts of a small assortment of outside labels such as Canadian outerwear brand Mackage, Adidas, 3.1 Philip Lim, Vans, Calvin Klein and more.
Aritzia was founded in 1984 and currently has over 75 retail stores. According to its last reported quarter, the retailer confirmed their plans to open a minimum of 25 to 30 new locations within North America, and expect to expand or reposition a minimum of 20 to 25 existing stores between fiscal 2017 and to the end of fiscal 2021.
