Bigship Logistics, a bootstrapped Indian start-up that specialises in bulk and multi-stage heavy B2B shipping, is set to grow 20X by 2024. In just two years, Bigship has grown 10X and expanded to more than 150 countries, becoming a top logistics aggregator in the heavy and multi-shipment sector.
The company recently collaborated with Indian SMEs for their supply chain solutions for big giants like Amazon, Nykaa, Myntra, Metro Cash and Carry, providing appointment-based deliveries that are specialised services.
Bigship is the only aggregator to offer this service among all the aggregator competitive companies. In addition, the company recently collaborated with Indian Railways for door-to-door delivery services for heavy goods, contributing to business growth and increasing operational capacity.
The company’s collaborations have also been helped by the National Logistics Policy (NLP) which aims to reduce logistics costs for companies. NLP is a game changer and will bring a paradigm shift in the logistics industry as it would help India reach its apex target of becoming a US $ 20 trillion economy by the year 2040.
The founders of Bigship, Ankit Jain and Swati Mittal, have ten-plus years of expertise in digital marketing and social commerce, which helped them curate ideas that had a big impact in a very short span of time. The company aims to double its number of delighted clients and expand its worldwide services with cross-border services and franchise networks.
Additionally, it covers 29,000 pin codes in the country, along with a base in Delhi and official branches in Gujarat, Mumbai, Surat and Ahmedabad expanding to national boundaries covering USA and Middle East.
