Adapting to the new normal, leading womenswear designer Payal Singhal recently unveiled a revamped e-commerce exclusive store with the objective to provide an omni-device experience to shoppers across Android and iOS mobile phones, tablets and laptops alike.
Along with the website revival, the eminent label has also launched a line of reversible face masks.
Commenting on the very need of face masks in the current scenario, Payal told IANS recently, “Masks are going to be an important part of our wardrobe.”
“People are looking for masks to express themselves and maybe lift their mood a bit to combat the sad reality of wearing the mask. So yes, masks are here to stay… for a while at least,” she added.
These breathable, reusable and washable pleated face masks are available with matching pouches in signature Payal Singhal prints. The website has also opened deliveries across India and internationally.
Though the brand first launched its e-commerce website way back in 2013, it hadn’t really been as active till recently. “Going forward, the e-commerce site is going to be extremely important for business.”
The designer also recently launched her Spring/Summer 2020 collection titled ‘Parvaneh’, accompanied by a digital art exhibition.
Explaining what the collection is all about, Payal wrote on her brand’s Facebook page that “it is a conversation on journeying into your own. Inspired by ‘chrysalis’, the transitional state as a caterpillar blossoms into a butterfly, change is at the core of this collection. Change is also at the heart of our ‘new normal’.”
