Geared up to encash the upcoming festive season, India’s leading fashion e-commerce player Myntra is hiring about 11,000 people. It is nearly 57 per cent up from 7,000 last year.
The Flipkart-owned, Bengaluru-based e-commerce giant, is hiring workforce to beef up its supply chain, including last-mile delivery and customer support.
As per a report of The Economic Times, a leading English daily, Amar Nagaram, CEO, Myntra said, “This has been the largest hiring drive ever at Myntra, for on-ground and customer support during any festive season, as we anticipate a strong demand across pin codes for their festive needs.”
This year, during the peak delivery period, Myntra is also incentivising its frontline force with perks, including attendance bonus, over and above the regular salaries.
Myntra recently added London-based e-commerce brand Urbanic that sells affordable fashion clothing largely targeted towards GenZ shoppers, and notably it reported strong sales on Day 1 of its listing on Myntra.

It is important to mention here that Ajio is emerging as a challenger to Myntra in online fashion space and Myntra is on toes to grab the major market share.
