Neemans, a footwear company, has debuted its first clothes collection with a selection of understated necessities. The product line is described by the firm as being carbon neutral and is produced in a building that uses solar and wind energy.
“The cornerstone of Neeman’s has always been sustainability and comfort,” the brand announced on Facebook, revealing its new apparel line.
“We have and continue to channel it to footwear that you have all praised, supported and loved. But our drive to extend sustainability to a holistic lifestyle space urged us to innovate beyond footwear. So, when we ventured into apparel, we had to make sure that we don’t just live up to our values but also push the envelope a little further. That is why just making comfortable, long-term wear and durable apparel didn’t cut it for us. We went ahead to make it carbon negative! That’s right!” the brand added on the Facebook post.
The clothing line employs thin, comfortable fabric with minimal marking for adaptability. ‘ReLive’ T-shirts and polo shirts in hues ranging from spring green to navy blue are how the collection got started.
Neemans conducts retail business from its upscale brand shops and online store. The brand joined the e-commerce site Meolaa in July 2022 in an effort to expand its selection of footwear and appeal to Gen Z customers. After utilising its ‘smart solution’ capabilities, Neemans has also teamed with e-commerce development company GoKwik and claimed double-digit transaction increase.
