Landmark Group has announced a series of leadership changes at Lifestyle International Private Limited (LIPL), effective 1st October 2025.
Shital Mehta, Managing Director of LIPL, has assumed an expanded mandate, taking charge of a broader portfolio of businesses along with Group Functions at LIPL. Over the past eight years, Mehta has led the growth and transformation of Max and Easybuy, positioning both brands for sustained expansion in India’s fashion retail sector.
Following this development, the Group has appointed Sumit Chandna as Chief Executive Officer of Max, also effective 1st October 2025. Chandna, who has served as Deputy CEO of Max for the past three years, has been instrumental in driving the brand’s operational and strategic transformation, reinforcing its position in the country’s value fashion market.
Renuka Jagtiani, Chairwoman of Lifestyle International Private Limited, said the leadership changes reflected the company’s commitment to developing internal talent and strengthening its leadership structure. She noted that Mehta and Chandna had worked closely as a team and would continue to play key roles in guiding the company’s transformation efforts.
Mehta expressed appreciation for the expanded role, describing it as an opportunity to build on the company’s foundation and support its next phase of growth. He added that he was confident in Chandna’s leadership and Max’s continued progress under his direction.
Chandna said he was honoured to lead Max as CEO, acknowledging the team’s collective efforts in reshaping the brand and expressing his intent to continue driving growth, innovation, and customer engagement across India.
