Lulu Group, the multinational retail and mall operator, is set to open a new shopping destination in Kottayam, Kerala, next month. Spanning 2.5 lakh square feet, the “mini-mall” will be located in Manipuzha along the city’s M.C. Road and is expected to welcome visitors by mid-December, according to reports.
The two-storey mall will include a 1.4 lakh square foot Lulu Hypermarket, which will serve as its cornerstone. Lulu Hypermarket offers a diverse range of products, including clothing, groceries, personal care items and home essentials. This marks Lulu Group’s fifth mall in Kerala, furthering its mini-mall expansion strategy in Tier-3 markets across the state.
In addition to the hypermarket, the mall will feature over 20 Indian and international brands, including Celio, Swa Diamonds, Mamaearth and Van Heusen.
The mall’s official Facebook page described the upcoming launch as “the ultimate shopping paradise,” promising visitors access to fashion, electronics, fresh produce and food—all under one roof.
