Mango, the Spanish apparel company, has opened its first Mango Man store in India. Mango Man is its menswear line and has enabled the company to further increase its presence in the Indian market by tripling it in two years.
The company has made India a key focus of its international expansion in Asia. India also happens to be at the top with regard to points of sale for the company, numbering 85 points of sale, compared to 46 stores at the end of 2021. In 2023, Mango will open two new flagship stores in Bengaluru and Ludhiana, bringing the total store network to more than 110 points of sale by the end of the year.
The company has said that it will be accelerating expansion in India and opening over 35 more points of sale which would include new flagship stores in Ludhiana and Bengaluru. It aims to have an extensive network of stores across India with 110 points of sale by the end of the year.
This expansion plan has been implemented alongside Myntra which is the local franchise partner for Mango and is among the more important players in fashion in the country.
