Myntra, a lifestyle e-commerce portal supported by Flipkart, is testing a fast delivery service that promises delivery in specific Bengaluru locations in as little as two hours.
“M-Now,” a pilot project, is available in a few Bengaluru pin codes and provides a small range of products “to see how it works,” according to a source.
Based on the lessons learnt during the trial, the service would be expanded to further places, the source continued. With the goal of delivering goods within 24 to 48 hours of an order being placed, the Bengaluru-based company introduced M-expedited, an expedited delivery service, in 2022 in major cities.
Myntra will be among the first specialised fashion platforms to enter the rapid commerce space with M-Now, despite the fact that quick commerce platforms are increasingly expanding their services to include beauty and fashion categories.
With over 40 million transacting clients annually, Myntra boasts a robust user base. According to reports, the company’s operating revenue rose from US $ 415 million in FY ’22 to US $ 518 million in FY ’23, a 25 per cent increase.
