Nykaa Fashion, the fashion e-tail arm of the popular makeup and skincare giant Nykaa, has launched the American casualwear brand Gap on its platform.
The growing demand for comfortable clothing as people prefer to stay indoors will be adequately met with casual and loungewear designs from Gap.
The multi-brand online retailer has a large portfolio of international brands available for the Indian consumers and collections from Gap were added on 27 May, according to a Facebook post.
As of now, only the womenswear line is available and includes designs such as logo T-shirts, shirts, jeans and dresses for casualwear, along with sweat pants and jersey designs for loungewear.
From shipping only essentials during lockdown, Nykaa is now able to retail all products in most parts of the country and is also selling personal protective equipment and sanitisers.
Earlier Nykaa’s employees had voluntarily donated a day’s salary to the PM Cares Fund to fight coronavirus and Falguni Nayar, founder of Nykaa, had matched those donations to reach Rs. 1 crore in total.
Apart from this, Nykaa has also been active in providing rations and safety packages to its workers in warehouses along with donating to local authorities.
