Royal Enfield on Monday announced it has unveiled its first-ever apparel and riding gear range exclusively for women in India.
The new collection is available at the company’s online retail store as well as at select stores in Delhi, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad and Kolkata.
Priced between Rs. 700 and Rs. 14,000, the range of apparel and motorcycling gear includes riding jackets, trousers, jeans, shirts, t-shirts, helmets and gloves.
The apparel collection has been designed keeping in mind women’s riding habits and the varied weather conditions across the country.
The Chennai-based motorcycle manufacturer celebrated its unique launch with a digital campaign called #DeedsNorWords starting on 16 June. It aimed at highlighting the stories of women who have been defying conventions and creating their own paths, making the world a more equal place.
With the launch, the brand aims to live up to its commitment of providing a pure riding experience to everyone who is passionate about the motorcycling way of life.
“It was a natural step for us to create a collection of clothing for women, inspired by this motorcycling way of life, designed to be aspirational yet accessible, to support them in their pursuits of exploration,” said Puneet Sood, Head – Apparel Business, Royal Enfield.
The riding collection includes a summer mesh suit and a 3-layer all-weather riding suit – both available as separates.
A coated cotton jacket with leather details is one of the highlights of the collection – not to forget some classic leather jackets that allow armours to be inserted, promising an enhanced riding experience.
