Bengaluru-based women’s ethnicwear retailer Soch Apparels Pvt Ltd has appointed Srikrishna S as its Chief Operating Officer (COO), strengthening its senior leadership team as the company sharpens its focus on operational efficiency, domestic expansion and international growth.
Srikrishna announced his appointment on LinkedIn, describing the move as a return to familiar ground, noting that he had previously spent several years building the retailer’s operational framework.
As COO, Srikrishna is expected to lead efforts to enhance operational efficiencies across Soch’s expanding retail network while supporting its next phase of growth. His mandate is understood to include improving store productivity, strengthening supply-chain processes, accelerating expansion into emerging cities and building scalable frameworks to support international franchise-led growth.
He brings over two decades of experience across fashion, speciality retail and consumer businesses, with expertise spanning profit and loss management, retail scaling and operational transformation.
Srikrishna was earlier associated with Soch between 2015 and 2024, holding senior leadership roles including General Manager – Operations and subsequently Head of Retail Operations. During that period, he oversaw nationwide store performance, executed expansion strategies and managed core retail operations.
Prior to rejoining Soch, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Stanley Lifestyles from February 2024 to January 2026. His earlier career includes leadership stints at Craftsvilla, Shoppers Stop, Future Group, Axiom Telecom and Style Spa Furniture Ltd.
Soch Apparels Pvt Ltd, founded in Bengaluru, has grown into a prominent organised ethnicwear brand focused primarily on women’s occasionwear and contemporary Indian fashion. The company operates predominantly through company-owned stores across India, allowing tighter control over merchandising, inventory management and customer experience.
Internationally, Soch operates stores in Toronto, Canada, and across Malaysia, including Kuala Lumpur, Klang and Johor Bahru. Its overseas outlets typically range between 1,000 and 1,200 square feet and are designed to achieve faster breakeven and strong merchandise productivity.
The brand’s international portfolio includes sarees, salwar suits, kurtas, fusionwear, co-ord sets and occasion-led collections, with selective localisation in fabrics and silhouettes to suit regional climatic conditions and consumer preferences.
