Styched, the leading Indian D2C fashion and lifestyle brand, has announced the revival of the casual sneaker label, Flatheads, following a significant acquisition deal. The pre-orders for Flatheads’ signature sneakers will be open on 9th November, and customers will have the exclusive privilege of placing their pre-orders through the official Flatheads website.
Flatheads’ commitment to design and the use of high-end materials sets them apart, as claimed by Styched. The designs maintain a minimal, casually chic aesthetic that complements a wide range of fashion styles.
Flatheads’ Founder Ganesh Balakrishnan faced a pivotal moment on the sets of ‘Shark Tank India Season 2’, where potential investors hesitated to join his entrepreneurial journey.
Following the show, Flatheads received an overwhelming outpouring of support from people across India, leading to a quick success as Flatheads was able to sell sneakers out in India and making strides in the US and the UAE market before the acquisition.

This relaunch represents a significant milestone for Styched, which acquired Flatheads in July of this year in an all-equity transaction, marking the company’s inaugural acquisition. Subsequently, Styched expanded its portfolio by acquiring Zymrat, a performancewear brand, in a cash and equity swap deal, along with the addition of the Zymrat team in September 2023.
