AstorMueller AG, a prominent European footwear company headquartered in Switzerland and the owner of brands like bugatti, TT.BAGATT, and Salamander, has announced the establishment of its Indian joint venture, nuvora.
This calculated action is a component of AstorMueller’s larger strategy to establish India as one of its biggest markets. AstorMueller has partnered with Gaurik Group, a leading player in the premium retail sector in India that operates exclusive stores for a number of international brands, in order to take advantage of the country’s enormous growth potential, which includes a rapidly growing consumer base and rising demand for high-end international brands.
A regionally specific structure with decades of experience will help nuvora expand rapidly and accelerate market penetration in a continent-sized market like India, where cultures and preferences vary from region to region, said Sandip Baksi, CEO of nuvora. The commitment to technology, craftsmanship, and community is unwavering despite the company’s changing identity, he continued adding that what changes is the rate of expansion, execution, and progress.
The business said in a statement that nuvora intends to open 10–12 bugatti brand stores this fiscal year and use a multi-channel strategy to target the top 20 cities in India through both online and offline channels.
Sirish Kumar, CEO of AstorMueller India sees immense potential in this partnership and is confident that it will redefine the premium footwear landscape in India.
