India-based home furnishing retailer Urban Ladder has announced to launch new products keeping a low price bracket to boost its sales.

Rajiv Srivatsa, Founder, Urban Ladder said that the decision to shift focus towards lower-priced products was taken after referring to the suggestions that came from the customers.
“While Urban Ladder has so far focussed only on its core and premium-price segments, we will now also play in the intermediary price segment, for instance, for a single seater, the price bracket used to start from Rs 8,000 that soared up to Rs 20,000. However, we will now offer fresh products for Rs 6,000 while making sure quality by making changes to material and engineering,” Rajiv added.
Recently, the India-based home décor brand also announced that it is targeting to launch seven more outlets by the end of the current fiscal year. The co-founder of the company also marked out that the expansion plans and foray into the lower-priced segment have nothing to do with Ikea’s launch in the country.
