After two successful shows in Kochi and Chennai, INTIMASIA 3.0, an event dedicated to intimate wear industry, is all set for its Delhi edition, scheduled on 21st and 22nd January 2019, at Pragati Maidan.
Organized by Peppermint Communications and supported by the Intimate Apparel Association of India (IAAI) the event is expected to have more than 3000 retailers, distributors, and agents from the Northern Region of India. Many top intimate wear brands from across India will participate in the show.
In India, intimate wear is currently one of the fastest growing product categories of the garment trade, and with Delhi at the heart and crux of the industry, it makes it the perfect intersection for both manufacturers and the traders to converge the wide exposure. Delhi’s appetite for the intimates is massive, as unprecedented 30 per cent of fashion mongers (purveyors of the product) restock and refresh their intimate wear product portfolio every 1 to 3 months. On the consumer end, 52 per cent of Delhi’s fashion and brand conscious populace refresh their intimates every 4 to 6 months.
Yusuf Dohadwala, Organizer and CEO, IAAI told why he choose Delhi? He went, “Delhi is surrounded by 6 major states and connected to 86 prime cities less than overnight journey away. The city’s astounding growth rate of 11.22 per cent GSDP puts it as one of India’s fastest growing cities. This growth is anchored by its seven pillars of sturdy policy, government focus, favourable geographical location, and the fashion-forward citizens, infrastructure, economic climate, and business investment perception.”
