Streetwear company Urban Monkey has joined Myntra’s Rising Stars programme, an attempt to support made-in-India direct-to-consumer (D2C) companies, the e-tailer announced in a press statement.
The brand will provide more than 170 styles in areas like clothing and accessories on the Myntra platform. Urban Monkey will present its items such as T-shirts, caps, sweatshirts, shirts, backpacks, jeans and shorts.

Yash Gangwal launched Urban Monkey, a Mumbai-based company, in 2013. Operating in the mass premium market, the retailer caters to millennials and Gen Z.
The brand intends to utilise Myntra’s social commerce products, including Myntra Studio and Minis, to improve brand memory, general visibility, and customer engagement.
