
Vishal Mega Mart, a value supermarket chain, recorded an 88 percent increase in net profit to US $ 13.5 million compared to US $ 7.2 million in the same quarter last year.
Compared to the same quarter of the previous fiscal year, when the company’s revenue was US $ 24.3 million, it increased by 23 per cent to US $ 29.9 million during this quarter.
The clothes sector accounted for 44 per cent of total revenue in the fiscal year 2025, followed by general merchandise and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), each of which contributed 28 per cent.
Gunender Kapur, managing director and CEO of Vishal Mega Mart, said the company achieved strong operational and financial results in Q4 FY ’25 and FY ’25, driven by continued momentum across categories. He emphasised that the performance highlights the effectiveness of their unique strategy and dedication to making aspirations affordable.
During the financial year, Vishal Mega Mart opened 85 new stores taking the total store count
to 696.
